National Get Fit Don’t Sit Day

Research shows that getting more active and changing our sedentary habits is one of the most effective ways to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. That’s why Health Management Partners is joining the American Diabetes Association’s third annual National Get Fit Don’t Sit Day today.

Today is all about recognizing the importance of getting up and moving throughout the day as an important part of a healthy lifestyle. In fact, the ADA recommends that everyone get up and move at least every 30 minutes. #GetFitDontSit
