DPP Class Starting in September

Health Management Partners is now offering a Diabetes Prevention Program.  Diabetes Prevention Programs (DPP) are designed to help prevent or delay type 2 diabetes.  In the yearlong, CDC-recognized DPP, a trained coach leads DPP group participants through topics such as healthy eating, stress reduction, and increasing physical activity.  DPP programs have demonstrated long-term results with reduction of risk of developing diabetes by 58% among program participants.
